TANA橋 — Paul Tanahashi
A Hasselblad camera held above a stone pavement.

British photographer & Writer

Paul Tanahashi

His inspiration comes from the quiet details of everyday life: the gestures, rituals and places that reveal something about the people behind them. He is drawn to the relationship between people and their surroundings, and to the stories that emerge when there is time to look and listen.

His current projects explore working lives, cultural traditions and the knowledge passed between generations in Japan and Europe, through photographs, interviews and film.
